Google Celebrates Earth Hour

Google users today may notice a not so slight change in the way their favourite search engine looks. Celebrating Earth Hour has 'turned out the lights' on their display page. Although this doesn't really save energy its the symbol of it that raises awareness for the global Earth Hour initiative.

What is Earth Hour

Earth Hour began in Sydney Australia last year when '2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney businesses turned off their lights for one hour' to raise awareness on climate change.
